To get admission in a B.Sc. Fire Safety or B.Sc. Fire and Industrial Safety course, you must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) or any Science stream.

Admissions are usually merit-based or through institute-level entrance exams.

Some colleges may also conduct physical fitness tests or interviews before final selection.

For B.Sc (Hons) Chemistry at Nowgong College, the latest CUET cut-off for general category was around 82–85 percentile. It may vary slightly each year depending on seats and applicants. Aim for a CUET score above 160/250 for better chances.

Your chances for BSc Botany in top central universities might be limited but you can still explore state universities and pvt colleges that accept lower CUET scores. The exact cutoff varies by college, so it's best to shortlist a few and check their 2024 cutoffs on their official websites or on Shiksha. Best of luck!

Both are good, but if you're more interested in research, disease or working in labs, BSc Microbiology is a better choice. BSc Life Science is broader and covers many areas like botany, zoology and environmental science. it's good if you want more career options later.
