Yes, IHM Chandigarh does follow seat reservations for the BSc course. The institute has seats for candidates belonging to reserved categories. As per the NCHMCT guidelines, for admission under these categories, aspirants need to submit the relevant documents. Check out the seat reservation below, fetched from the official website of NCHMCT:

  • 15% for the Scheduled Caste (SC) Category.
  • 7½% for the Scheduled Tribe (ST) Category.
  • 27% for the OBC (Central List) (Non-creamy layer) Category as per the Central List.
  • 10% for the General EWS Category.
  • 5% of seats shall be reserved for the Physically Disabled across the board as per the rules.

Shortlisted candidates must report at IHM Chandigarh as per the scheduled appointment and the necessary documents for the verification process. Selected BSc (HHA) programme candidates must provide their required documents, such as

  • Self-attested photocopies of Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets
  • Age proof
  • Category certificate
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)
  • Date of birth proof
  • Three Affidavits (Anti-ragging by the student, Anti-ragging by parents, Attendance)

To  get the provisional admissions for BSc courses at IHM Chandigarh. Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination at the time of entrance are also eligible to apply provisionally, subject to the condition that they should produce proof of passing the qualifying examination till September 30th. The candidates selected provisionally will not be allowed to join/ continue in case they fail the Class 12 examination.

Yes, NCHMCT JEE is compulsory for admission to the BSc course at IHM Chandigarh. Moreover, before appearing in the entrance exam, candidates are first required to complete their eligibility criteria, which is that candidates must complete their Class 12 from any stream with English as a core/ elective/ functional subject.

To get selected in BSc course at IHM Chandigarh, candidates are required to complete the eligibility requirements. Further, the institute selects candidates based on their score in NCHMCT JEE. Interested candidates can visit the NCHM official website to apply. Further, a cutoff list is released by the institute. Candidates with a score equal to or more than the cutoff become eligible for counselling and further admission.
