There is no provision of direct admission for BSc at BP Marine Acdemy Belapur under any specialisation. Candidates will be required to take an entrance test and Psychometric Test and clear these selection process to get shortlisted. There are a total of two specialsiations offered at BP Marine Academy Belapur for the BSc course and they are as follows:
- B.Sc. Nautical Science
- B.Sc Hospitality studies

Candidates willing to secure a BSc seat at Himalayan Garhwal University must first ensure their eligibility. The next step is to apply (online/offline) for admission. BSc seats are allocated to eligible applicants based on the merit determined as per the procedure laid down by the University. Merit list is usually prepared on the basis of the merit obtained by the candidates either in the entrance exam conducted by the university (MAHGEE) or the qualifying examination (Class 12/equivalent). Candidates who manage to secure a seat for BSc at the university must timely submit the applicable fees for seat confirmation.

MAHGU provides placement support to students enrolled in its BSc courses. However, the university has not yet released the course-specific placement report pertaining to BSc. Hence, it is difficult to ascertain how good the university's BSc placements are. As per the overall placement statistics sourced from MAHGU reviews on Shiksha.com, the university recorded a placement rate of 95% in the recent years. A students pursuing BSc at the university commented that the highest and the lowest salary packages offered during MAHGU BSc placements were INR 5 LPA and INR 2.7 LPA, respectively.
