The total seat intake at SRHU for various BSc courses is over 150. The total number of seats is further divided into the BSc specialisations offered at the university. The mentioned number of seats has been sourced from the official website of the university/sanctioning body. It is still subject to change and hence, is indicative. The university follows the seat resrvation policy for the Uttarakhand government.

Yes, SRHU Dehradun follows the seat reservation policy of Uttarakhand Government. The university reserves 40% of the total BSc (Nursing) seats for Permanent Residents of Uttarakhand (PRU). The remaining 60% of seats are open for All India Category candidates. The total BSc (Nursing) seats st SRHU are over 100. The mentioned number of seats is subject to change and hence, is indicative.

Eligible applicants are needed to apply through the RGPV website. Selection for BSc in the college is made on an online form submitted to the college website. Application forms need to be uploaded and the online application fee paid. Admissions are strictly based on class 12 results. Apart from that, the shortlisted candidates would also be interviewed as a part of the selection process. Once a candidate is selected, the email address or mobile number registered is informed of his/her admission through this portal.

The seat allotment in the BSc programme in RGPV is basically done on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the last qualifying examinations. Allotment is done in many rounds of counselling on a merit basis. In addition, some seats are also given to specific categories in order to provide a much more balanced and fairer choice to each eligible student.

Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), has in total 120 seats for its BSc programme under the academic session 2024. Out of that, 60 seats are reserved for Shri Rawatpura Sarkar Institutions, and the remaining 60 seats are to be assigned to the MIT Group of Institutes. The seat matrix is strictly provided based on the merit obtained by the candidates in their last qualifying examination. This makes it a meritorious selection process. After the submission of the BSc application form by the applicant, admission follows up with a multi-stage procedure at RGPV. The university goes through the process of checking the merit of a candidate in the eligibility criteria set by it, though it has the personal interview round.
