In order to get admission to BSc course at Periyar University, candidates are required to pass the educational requirements as per the university's norms. To get admission to BSc course, aspirants are required to pass Class 12 in the respective subjects as per the respective BSc specialisation requirement. For students who seek admission in RIM in BSC Course must meet the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the institute. The student must have a 10+ 2 degree or an equivalent degree from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% marks. For admission you also must provide the 12th Score card to participate in the counselling process. These necessary criteria must be met to move forwad with the admission process. The admission is based on merit.

The fees is further divided into various subparts like tuition fee, exam fee, security fee etc. The fee is submitted before the start of the session. Students are required to submit full year fee beforehand only. Otherwise the admission is not confirmed.

It is difficult to ascertain which college among Keshav Mahavidyalaya & Dyal Singh College is better for pursuing a BSc. Both the colleges offer various specialisations for BSc and BSc (Hons) courses. Based on the students' reviews available at Shiksha.com, Dyal Singh College appears to be slightly better in terms of placements, faculty, infrastructure, etc. Based on the student reviews on Dyal Singh College, the overall rating for the college is 4/5. BSc students can apply for Keshav Mahavidyalaya BSc scholarships from the National Scholarship Portal (NPL) for applying through the National Scholarships portal, candidates are required to submit relevant documents. All the relevant documents be sent in Zip format with the file name as the Name of the student and type of Scholarship (for e.g. Rahul- post-matric/merit/CS) and mailed by the students through their respective Keshav mail IDs provided by the college only.
