Banasthali Vidyapith is a compulsorily residential institution i.e., on being admitted to the university the student must live in the campus hostels. However, a student who is the ward of a worker of the University is exempted if she stays with them on the campus or if the student belongs to a neighbouring village community within a radius of 2.5 km.

However, as per NIRF report 2023, 909 UG and 422 PG students were placed during Banasthali Vidyapith Jaipur placements 2022. The median package offered to UG courses during placements 2022 ranged between INR 3.3 LPA and INR 4.75 LPA.
