Yes, you can do Ph.D. in economics after MBA in finance as you are eligible for doing Ph.D. in Business Economics. To be eligible for Ph.D. course, you should have completed Masters degree with above 55% marks from a recognised university. You should also have a Bachelor's degree in economics / Bachelor in technology in economics from a recognised university. MBA in finance will help if Ph.D. in economics involves higher level math.

As per my knowledge, Completing an MBA in finance improves your skills across a range of areas of finance, from risk management to financial control. On one hand, a degree in MBA Finance will allow students to pursue a career dealing with the financial aspects of a business, like risk management, valuation of funds and accounting. Hey Krishnaveni the fee structure at N.M.S. Sermathai Vasan College for women for B.com in Banking is around INR 22000 annually and it requires a minimum of 70% marks in 10+2 or equivalent so just go for it
