No, most government colleges offering a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree require students to appear for an entrance exam as part of the admission process. While some colleges may consider merit (based on 10+2 marks), many reputable institutions, including Delhi College of Art, Jamia Millia Islamia, and Banaras Hindu University, conduct entrance exams to assess artistic aptitude and potential.
