MBA in Hospital Management is basically into all service sectors, so as medical students your technical expertise shall be of very little use except in Clinics and hospital where you can get roles of Management into Customer Marketing.

Diploma is 6 months course and in this course only basic knowledge of hotel management is taught. But, Bachelor of hotel management teaches you everything about hotel management as it is of 3 years. It should be done through regular mode because hotel management course has a lot of practical classes.

Scope is there only if you are willing to work with dedication. BHM + MBA or BHM + Master's in HM can place you well as the tourism and hospitality sector is on rise in India as well as globally. Aviation sector, hospitality, clinics, resorts and even hospitals are now providing excellent services to their patients and they need good staff.

Hi,
If you are a fresher, then you can expect a starting salary of Rs.10k to Rs.12k, but if you have a decent experience, then your salary can range up to Rs.20k to Rs.25k. You can pursue Masters in hospitality after completing UG in HM.
All the best.

It would be better if you work for at least 2 years after completing BHM. It will be very useful for you to work in Australia or to pursue a PG course from there itself.
