The Bihar STET is an eligibility exam that is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates as Secondary level teachers, Higher Secondary level teachers and Physical Education Teachers. Candidates aspiring to become Classes 9 and 10 (Secondary level) teachers in Bihar schools need to appear for Bihar STET Paper 1 and those who want to teach Classes 11 and 12 (Higher Secondary teachers) need to appear for Paper 2. The Bihar STET exam is generally conducted once a year. However, the decision regarding the frequency of exam is taken by the exam conducting body, that is, Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB). It is a state-level Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) exam that is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates as Secondary or Higher Secondary level teachers.

Bihar STET exam is held online in computer-based test mode. In the exam, candidates need to mark their answers on the desktop. Candidates need to complete the exam in two hours and thirty minutes. 

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) conducts the Bihar Secondary Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) to determine the eligibility of candidates as Secondary level teachers and Higher Secondary level teachers in Bihar schools. The Bihar STET exam is consist of two papers, Paper 1 (Secondary level) and Paper 2 (Higher Secondary level). The Bihar STET exam date 2024 has been announced by the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB). The Bihar STET 2024 exam will be conducted separately for Paper 1 and Paper 2. The Bihar STET 2024 exam will be conducted from May 18 to 29, 2024 for Paper 1 and from June 11 to 19, 2024 for Paper 2.
