The idea of evolution is based on the premise of a common ancestry.

See both subjects have their own scope in future. It totally depends on your interest that what you choose. But I think you should go for medical only if you can focus on it and can easily memorise it. It is a very interesting subject because in medical you learn about yourself and about your environment.

If you want to pursue a course related to biology, then the marks of biology, chemistry and physics will be considered. Every field related to biology have good scope, if you can excel in it. Biotechnology is now one of the most trending course in biology.
