Eligibility varies from university to university. Also, these days universities are offer B.Tech in Biotech, which is better than B.Sc. As it is a professional degree whereas B.Sc. Is just a general degree. Many good private universities like VIT, LPU, SRM, etc. are offering admissions in B.Tech. These private universities offer admission on the basis of tests like JEE and their own tests. Some offer you direct admission too on the basis of your marks in previous qualifying exam. All these are world-class universities with modern infrastructure and good placements. Few of them offer scholarships too. For admission to the course, eligible candidates are needed to qualify a relevant entrance examination, conducted at any of institute, state and national levels.
