6 years agoI secured 39.5 percentile in JEE Mains. Can I get BIT-Sindri for civil engg.? I am from ST category.

Hi VISHWAJIT,
As you have scored 39.5 percentile in JEE Mains exam 2019 and you belongs to ST category. Therefore, you should participate in the counselling process and go till the last round of the counselling. You might get a seat in BIT Sindri in civil engineering. At the same time, apply for some other good private colleges like Amity University, Sharda University, Lovely Professional University, etc. as per your interests and convenience to be in the safer side.

It is hard to compare because both are good colleges. But if I were at your place then I will go for BIT-Dhanbad as it has good infrastructure and campus environment.

Hello Ishita, I believe that you have scored really well in JCECE and COMEDK. That's why, you're expecting these good colleges, so as per your choices, I will recommend you to go for any branches in RVCE because its more better than BIT Sindri in every aspect. Best wishes.

You must appear for the JCECE conducted by Jharkhand government. If you get a rank below 1000, then you can certainly get CSE in BIT Sindri.
