Earlier the mass communication and Journalism are separate, now they came under the same roof.
Now journalism is being considered as one of the fields of mass communication. Some colleges provide it as BMC and some as BJMC, there's no difference.
In journalism, you need to communicate with mass with all your gathered news, case study, analyzation. So it's a unit of mass communication.
Mass communication is not only with creativity, we need to study a lot with the concept we want to present. Like one of the examples is Filmmaking which needs creativity plus knowledge, information and deep analyzation.

Yes, there is hostel facility for girls only. Fee structure for BJMC Scholars is 1.5 lakh and for BJMC it is 1 lakh only. Yes, there is an entrance exam conducted by the college for admission. This is conducted at the beginning of the session, i.e. in June or July.

Getting a job after BJMC is really possible and there are no reasons as to why you will not get job if you are skilled. BJMC is a professional course and is the basic need to get a job. After Post Graduation-specialization you definitely get good possibilities but BJMC is still important.
