Hi Rahul,
BJMC and B.Sc-IT are two very different courses with each of them having their own scope. Opt for the course that you love the most and are most passionate about and analyse the future work conditions, scope and growth prospects before taking admission.
You can also opt for psychometric test comprising of aptitude, personality and career interest to clear your confusion.
All the best.

BCA has maths and I don't think if you want maths out of your syllabus then definitely BCA shouldn't be your choice. BJMC doesn't have maths in it. So, you can got for it.

If you wish to stay in the same field, then the best option is either going for MJMC or PG diploma in your specific fields such as photography, reporting, advertising, event management or anything.

Hello Anshuman,
Yes, of course BJMC is itself a complete professional degree. It will focus on all the aspects of media. You will learn about print, electronic and new media. It is a three year degree programme. Not only Journalism but it will also teach you little about editing, advertising, public relation and photography. It is one of the interesting courses. I have myself done BJMC from IIMT so I can say it's the best. Yes, you may appear for UPSC exams after its completion. BJMC too consist a subject related to politics, crime, etc.
