Admission Process for Undergraduate Programs (B.Tech, BBA, B.Com, etc.):

1. Eligibility Criteria:

   • Check the eligibility criteria for the specific undergraduate programme you wish to apply to. BMU may have different eligibility requirements for different programs.

2. Online Application:

   • Complete the online application form on the BMU website during the application window. Provide accurate personal and academic information.

3. Entrance Test:

   • Some undergraduate programs at BMU, such as B.Tech, may require candidates to appear for an entrance test. The university conducts its own entrance test known as the BMU Engineering Entrance Test (BMU-ET) for B.Tech admissions. Check the specific programme requirements for details.

4. Personal Interview:

   • Shortlisted candidates may be invited for a personal interview or interaction, either in-person or through a video conference.

5. Submission of Documents:

   • After receiving an offer of admission, you will be required to submit relevant documents, including academic transcripts, certificates, identity proof, and passport-sized photographs.

6. Acceptance and Fee Payment:

   • Confirm your acceptance of the admission offer by paying the admission fee within the specified deadline. This secures your seat in the program.

7. Orientation and Commencement of Classes:

   • BMU typically conducts an orientation programme for new students before the start of the academic year. Regular classes commence after orientation.

Admission Process for Postgraduate Programs (MBA, M.Tech, etc.):

1. Eligibility Criteria:

   • Review the eligibility criteria for the specific postgraduate programme you intend to apply for. BMU may have different requirements for each program.

2. Online Application:

   • Complete the online application form on the BMU website during the application period. Provide accurate information and ensure all required documents are uploaded.

3. Entrance Exam and Interview:

   • Depending on the program, you may be required to appear for an entrance exam such as CAT, MAT, GMAT, or BMU's own entrance test. Shortlisted candidates may also be invited for a personal interview.

4. Submission of Documents:

   • After receiving an admission offer, submit the necessary documents for verification. This typically includes academic transcripts, certificates, letters of recommendation, and identity proof.

5. Acceptance and Fee Payment:

   • Confirm your acceptance of the admission offer by paying the admission fee within the stipulated timeframe.

6. Orientation and Start of Classes:

   • Attend the orientation programme conducted by BMU before the commencement of regular classes.

Applicants appearing for their class 12 examinations from any of the Boards affiliated to the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) or National or International Boards recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with a minimum of 60% or equivalent in their class 12 examination are eligible to apply. For Cambridge/lGCSE examinations and examinations of the approved British Examination bodies a minimum five subjects including English at the O Level and two/three subjects at the A Level will be required for the student to be eligible to apply. For the lB Career Related programme (IBCP), Students for General Strand (Arts, Commerce, Science and Law) graduating with 2 DP Subjects with at least 01 subjects at HL Level and minimum 3 points in each DP subject, career related study with at least 3 subjects, IBCP qualification with Core components requirement awarded by lB are eligible to apply. IB students are required to have studied Physics and Mathematics at the HL, with English as a compulsory subject. Applicants who are Foreign Nationals/ Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs)/ Non-Resident Indians (NRls)/ Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) must have passed the qualifying examination or equivalent from any system of education as recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with a minimum aggregate score of 60% or equivalent. The programme is test-optional; students are encouraged to provide results of standardized tests like UGAT, SAT, CUET, as these may provide a positive benefit in their evaluation.

BBAGeneral test or Business Studies

Applicants appearing for their class 12 examinations from any of the Boards affiliated to the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) or National or International Boards recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with a minimum of 60% or equivalent in their class 12 examination are eligible to apply. For Cambridge/lGCSE examinations and examinations of the approved British Examination bodies a minimum five subjects including English at the O Level and two/three subjects at the A Level will be required for the student to be eligible to apply. Schools affiliated under boards recognised by Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) or National or International Boards recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) are eligible to apply. Candidates studying under Indian Boards should have a minimum aggregate of 60% marks (or equivalent scores) in four subjects, viz. Physics, Mathematics, English and any one subject out of Chemistry, Biology, and Technical Vocational subjects. The candidate must have Mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects. BMU-SAT/SAT/ JEE (Main)/ BITSAT/ VITEEE .       [JEE (Main) is NOT compulsory]

BBA MBA IntegratedGeneral Test or Business Studies

Applicants appearing for their class 12 examinations from any of the Boards affiliated to the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) or National or International Boards recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with a minimum of 60% or equivalent in their class 12 examination are eligible to apply. The fee structure for the three-year BSc programme, session beginning in 2023 is provided below:

The Tuition Fee of the Programme will be as follows:

Tuition Fee for Indian Students including students who are residents of Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Bhutan

Tuition Fees for Foreign Nationals (excluding students who are residents of Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Bhutan)/ Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs)/ Non-Resident Indians (NRIs)/ Overseas Citizens of India (OCI)    

Note: From the second year onwards, tuition fee may be increased by a maximum of 5% over the preceding year at BMU’s discretion.
