Eligibility: Master of Science (M.Sc) Botany/Zoology: Bachelor's degree of a University established by law in India (with the subject of study for M.Sc, as one of the subjects) in 2nd Division or with at least 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST candidates) or Honors in the subject concerned. Basis of Admission: The admission to these courses will be made strictly on the basis of marks obtained in the Entrance Test and shall be open to all subject to the reservation approved by the University. The merit will be determined on the basis of competitive examination (written test and past academic record of the candidate).

Bachelor's degree in sciences with botany, zoology and chemistry or other subjects in the faculty of life sciences/biological sciences with minimum 50% marks (45% marks for SC/ST students).

The admission for above courses is mainly based on the merit. Your 12 th marks percentage check against the cut off released by DU. For calculation of percentage for different courses is different. To apply for M.Sc. In Plant Science you should have graduation degree in agriculture or biological sciences with minimum 50% from any recognised university. If you have interest to become researcher or lecturer in plant Science you can take the CSIR NET Exam. It is a national level exam which is organized to examine the ability of candidates to become a research fellow or lecturer. It is a outstanding gateway to make a bright future. Basic eligibility to pursue M.Sc. Botany from Andhra University is that candidate should have completed their graduation in Science with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. Moreover, candidate should also have a valid score in the entrance exam conducted by AU. Regards.
