A candidate for being eligible for admission to the degree of Bachelor of Performing Arts BPA (Music) (Karnataka Vocal/ Instrumental) must have passed H. S. C. / XIIth Standard or an examination of another University/Body recognised as equivalent thereto in the respective branch in addition, knowledge and proficiency in Karnataka (Vocal/Instrumental) is essential with minimum of six years training under a Guru/Gurus.
