Cutoff scores are not made public because Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University Delhi uses CUET (UG) scores for UG programme admissions. The university instead employs a merit-based system that takes into account the CUET score as well as other variables. According to the CUET website, a minimum of 50% in Class 12 is needed for UG programs, with a 5% relaxation for specific categories.

Before CUET, the university had its own entrance exam and interview for admission. From the previous year, they began accepting CUET marks for addmission. The cutoff for MA sociology ranged between 230 and 240 for the unreserved category.

The placement report for Dr. BR Ambedkar University in Delhi has not yet been made public for the 2022–23 academic year. But the NIRF report for 2023 is now available. The report states that during the 2022 placements, 73 PG and 28 UG students were placed. During Dr. BR Ambedkar University Delhi placements 2022, the median package provided to UG and PG students was INR 4 LPA and INR 7 LPA, respectively.
