CEED 2026 exam has two sections Part A and Part B. Part A will be conducted in online mode and Part B will be conducted offline. Part A will have three sections, NAT, MCQ and MSQ. Part B will include drawing based questions only. Part A is of 150 marks and Part B is of 100 marks.

CEED question paper has two sections - Part A and Part B. Part A will include NAT, MSQ, and MCQ questions, and there is negative marking for MSQ and MCQ-type questions. However, there is no negative marking for NAT-type questions.
Meanwhile, Part B will be a subjective paper and will have no negative marking.

IIT Bombay has’t released any notification notifying changes in the CEED 2024 exam pattern. So, the candidate may follow the old pattern to prepare for the design entrance exam. Aslo, note that even if IIT Bombay decides to may any changes, chances are rare that any wholesale changes would be made.
Nevertheless, the candidate must keep their eyes peeled, because in the race to get a good rank, even a few marks can make a bid difference. And to score well, one must strictly follow the official exam pattern.

IIT Bombay will release the exam pattern for the CEED 2024 exam tentatively in September or October 2024. The exam pattern will be released online at ceed.iitb.ac.in. The candidate may note that IIT Bombay has revised the syllabus for CEED 2024. So, there is a chance that the exam pattern may also be changed. So, keep looking this space for important updates.
When preparing for the CEED 2024 exam, the candidate needs to follow the updated exam pattern only.

The exam pattern for the SEED 2026 exam is released for B.Des. It is released online at the official website of the Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) - sid.edu.in. Candidate needs to follow the updated exam pattern when preparing for the SEED 2026 exam.

Yes, it is mandatory to clear both parts of CEED exam. Part B answer booklets are evaluated only for candidates who qualify Part A. Some of the important points that candidates must keep in mind regarding CEED exam pattern include: All questions of CEED Part-A and -B will be displayed on a computer. While candidates have to enter the answers for Part-A in the computer, the answers for Part-B have to be written in the provided answer booklet. To fill the CEED form, candidate should
- Get registered by entering details like name, email id, mobile number and date of birth.
- On successful registration, an applicant account will be created.
- Next, log in to candidate account and fill in personal, academic, and contact details.
- Select test centres; a maximum of three exam centres can be selected in order of priority.
- Upload scanned images of your photograph and signature, and certificates.
- Pay the application fee.
