Annamalai University DDE offers admission in two cycles in an academic year. Admissions in distance education courses are offered in January and July sessions. The July sessions ends by December, whereas January session goes on till June month. Candidates have to fill out the application form on the university's website for admission.

Annamalai University DDE offers admission to candidates based on their merit. Aspirants do not have to pass or appear for any entrance exam to get admission in the university. Candidates only need to meet the eligibility requirements and fill out the application form to get a seat in the university. Those who submit the specified documents and pay the course fee are granted admission in the university.

Annamalai University Distance Education offers admission to candidates based on their merit. Candidates can get a seat directly through Spot Admission. Aspirants have to submit the filled-in application form along with the documents to the nearest Learners Support Centre or LSC in-person to get direct admission. All Spot Admissions are subject to confirmation or cancellation (if found ineligible) by the Director, CD&OE.
