So as far as companies are concerned which come for CS students the list is exhaustive from new startups (Oyo Rooms, Evive) to MNC's (Amazon, Direct) and Mass Recruiters like Infosys, TCS. Last year I heard around 400+ companies visited the campus. The Package can go high upto 22 lakhs CTC for a fresher in company like amazon. If a student maintains his/her CGPA above 7.0 he/she is allowed to sit in most of the companies that come for campus placements. Most companies come for internships in Middle of 6th semester and then it depends upon the student's skill set to crack the interview of companies.

See, if you want take admission for B.Tech in any of the above colleges then you should select Chitkara University, Himachal campus. The environment you get here is very good. Away from the polluted city, it is situated near the mountains. You get fresh air which is an important thing. Talking about placements, the placements are good. Companies visit both campuses. You get equal opportunities to apply for the interview. In Himachal campus, the faculty is very good. The Punjab campus is very crowded as compared to Himachal campus. In placement concerns, Chitkara University is one of the best university in India. I would say, as per it's motto, "Explore your Potential" Chitkara University gives their students the immense opportunities to be a success. In the recent survey, 'CSR-GHRDC Engineering Colleges Survey 2018' by CSR magazine ranked Chitkara University among the top 20th Engineering Colleges in terms of Placements, USP, Social Responsibility, and Networking & Industry Interface. In current trends of engineering, I think it's best university for any programs like Engineering or MBA, You may enroll in this university ASAP, because it's engineering seats could be full for the academic year 2018.
