The CMC College has an attached hospital where treatments are provided to patients. The college gives free and subsidised care to marginalised people, the poorest of the poor. Patients who have no means of livelihood & who are referred to CMC Vellore by its social workers in CMC's community centres recieve treatment from here. It is provided through funds that are allocated from surplus, endowments that are created for the purpose, & donations from organisations & individuals.

While comparing CMC Vellore and SIMTS the decision will be a subjective one. Considering only MSc course with parameters based on fee & package students will find that in terms of package SRIHER offers better packages of INR 5.40 Lakhs.
