Each and every course has its own importance in their field. ACCA is a 2-year course. It has its similar importance in India and also abroad. The salary ranges from 15k to 35 lakhs.

CMA vs CIMA: An Overview
The CMA qualification is granted by the Institute of Management Accountants and is also known as IMA. CIMA stands for Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, is a designation which comes from the UK.

CIMA certification will give you an overall knowledge of accounting as this is course is focused on management term you'll be able to answer the whys and whats of the accounts and actually provide a way forward. Management accounting is basically accounting for internal affairs, making decisions related to product, cost, time which affects business outcome.

As a student of CIMA who is doing the operational level, I can say there are job opportunities but mostly MNCs and manufacturing organisations prefer CIMA in India, you might have more job opportunities outside India with CIMA.
If you do want a job after with your Cima qualification,I would advice you to at least complete the course till your CIMA Adv diploma in MA I.e Management level.
Anything below that level recruiters will just look at you as a BBA graduate. Good luck!
