B.Sc at COA is also a four-year degree programme that covers the broader aspects of agriculture, such as crop production, soil science, plant protection, animal husbandry, agricultural engineering, and agribusiness.
• Admission process: B.Sc at UHS requires the candidates to have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology/Biotechnology as compulsory subjects and obtained at least 45% marks in aggregate. The candidates also have to qualify the entrance test conducted by UHS or any other recognised university or institute. B.Sc at COA requires the candidates to have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology as compulsory subjects and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate. The candidates also have to qualify the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) under the authorization of Agriculture Quota.
• Fee structure: B.Sc at UHS has an average fee of 39,385 per year, while B.Sc at COA has an average fee of 53,460 per year. However, both colleges offer various scholarships and financial assistance schemes for eligible candidates.
