No, candidates cannot get admission without qualifying entrance exam at SVUCE. The college considers Andhra Pradesh EAMCET score for admission to the BTech programme. The selection for M.Tech is based on GATE or Andhra Pradesh PGECET scores. Selected candidates are further called for counselling and seat allotment. No, direct admission to B.Tech is not available at SVUCE. However, with the Tech lateral entry program, eligible applicants get admission directly into the program's second year. This is because the eligible candidates already have the basic foundational knowledge of the subject from their prior relevant qualifications and so they can directly start studying in the second year of the B.Tech. The eligibility is:

  1. The candidate should have passed a Diploma in Engineering or any equivalent course from a reputed University.
  2. The candidates who are waiting for the results of the Diploma.
