To get admission through KEAM (CET), you need to get  qualifying marks 240/600  (General category). It's a good idea to target 550+ marks for better chances in top engineering colleges. Usually students at 550+ marks obtain a rank less than 5,000. Higher marks certainly improve your chances of placing your fav branches and colleges during KEAM counselling.

Eligibility criteria vary by course. Generally:

For UG courses: Must have passed Class 12 with relevant subjects.

For PG courses: Must hold a Bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline.

Minimum marks and subject combinations depend on the specific course.

PU CET (UG) 2026 Physical counseling will be open mainly to students who did not get a seat in the online rounds or to fill reserved seats still vacant. In practice (as in previous years), the first day (s) may focus on General category candidates without seats, and subsequent days on remaining reserved category candidates. You attend in person at the designated venue (Panjab University, Chandigarh) with your documents and payment. The counselors will re-check your rank and choices, and offer available seats department by department. Once seats are offered, you must confirm and pay immediately.
