Although there have been a few reviews where students complain of the differences in the quality of teaching, reviews in general are positive suggesting that the faculty is committed to the learning of the students and offers both practical and theoretical information.

IES College of Technology does not offer a blanket 100% tuition waiver. They provide merit-based fee waivers to top-performing students in entrance exams or board exams. Additionally, students from reserved or economically weaker sections can apply for government scholarships and state-funded schemes. Private or corporate-sponsored awards may be available based on performance and need.

Open (OC) category TNEA closing ranks in 2024 did range from about 18,448 (Computer Science) to 80,166 (Information Technology) . Electronics and Communication Engineering closed at around 56,075.
Vocational marks had cutoff for OC students in ECE and IT branches were around 132–134 out of 200 .
So if your TNEA rank is under a rough 80–90? k for general category, or your vocational marks are in the 130+ range, you stand a good chance at NCT.
