To get admission in the PCT condidate need to appear in the entrance exams like TNEA (Tamil Naidu Engineering Admissions) and TNCET (Tamil Naidu Common Entrance Test). After the exams condidate need to appear in the counseling process conducted by the Anna university.

TNEA- for BE/B.Tech

TANCET- for ME/MBA and MCA

Condidate can also get admission by management and NRI Quota by appearing in the separate entrance test conducted by the college for these seats

Yeah, PCT does give 100% scholarships. If your family income's below 72k a year and you scored 60% plus in 12th, you can get full fee waiver after a test and interview. Same goes for toppers and merit-based stuff. They also consider things like sports, rural background, NCC/NSS, or if you've done anything innovative.

Basically, if you've got strong marks or a solid background, there's a good chance you can study for almost free.

Yes, PCT does offer quite a few scholarships. There's one for first-gen graduates (as per Anna University rules), plus merit-based ones if you've scored high in board or entrance exams – some even cover full fees. If your family income is under 72,000/year, you can apply for income-based support too. Got sports or extracurricular achievements. They've got scholarships for that as well. Usually, there's a test or interview involved. Just apply early with all your documents ready. For details, call 0421-2911037.

PCT keeps it simple when it comes to campus facilities. You've got your usual classrooms and labs for each department, though some gear might feel a bit old. The library's stocked with 10,000+ books and access to DELNET. Sports Cricket, football, chess, carrom – all there. Hostels are separate for guys and girls, but upkeep can be hit or miss. Wi-Fi is limited, and transport usually means hopping into an auto. Not fancy, but it covers the basics pretty well.
