Candidates have to appear for entrance examination and counselling wherever applicable. For NIET Diploma admission, candidates have to appear for JEECUP, and for B.Tech and B.Pharma, students have to appear for JEE Main and UPCET, respectively, followed by counselling.
NIT admission generally begins after the declaration of final phase JEE Main result. To participate in NIT admission for BTech, candidates will have to complete the JoSAA registration and choice filling process. Aspirants are advised to check NIT admission criteria beforehand to avoid any problems during admission.
Apart from UPSEE, NIET also conducts its own entrance exam

Shortlisted candidates must register online for UPCET counselling and select NIET as their preferred college. Seats will be allotted as per the choices filled and the scores of UPCET. Candidates have to submit the documents for verification and pay the fees once the seat is allotted.
