No, it is not compulsary. Students can stay in rooms or other hostels outside the college campus. But MMU hostel provide good facilities for both girls and boys. There may be shared rooms or single room it is upto student wish. The average fee for hostel is 1 lakh to 2 lakh per year for both male and female. So according to their financial issues, one can choose to stay either in campus hostel or outside the campus hostel.

Six residential buildings and 14 hostels are located on the campus. There is a sports complex there with a swimming pool, one gaming arena, and seven gyms. Two shopping centres on campus have four banks, a post office, and a number of restaurants. There is an auditorium with a capacity of around 1500 seats on the site as well.

MMU Mullana offers various financial aid and scholarship programs for meritorious students. The university also offers tuition fee waiver schemes to students who show exceptional merit. MMU Mullana offers a wide range of infrastructural facilities to students. The university provides the students with accommodation facilities for boys and girls separately. The hostels at the MMU Mullana offer all the basic amenities to students such as WIFi, medical services, mess, washrooms, Gym, etc. MMU Mullana has a huge library with a rich collection of books, e-books, journals, magazines and other periodicals. The central library publishes a peer-reviewed quarterly journal “International Journal of Information Dissemination and Technology” since 2011 and provides a seating capacity for more than 1500 readers.
