Amity University Gwalior is a Tier 3 institute. The university was established by the Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBEF) with the view to promote industry-oriented education in the state of Madhya Pradesh. 

Amity University Gwalior is a private university. The university has been accredited as a “Premier University” by the Accreditation Service for International Colleges (ASIC) and is recognised by the UGC.
