Yes, ITM University Gwalior offers multiple amounts of scholarships for students enrolled in the BTech programme. Students can avail scholarships by taking the ITM NEST exam. It is an admission-cum-scholarship test. As per the rules, only 10% of admitted students to a programme will receive this scholarship. Moreover, students who are receiving any other scholarships are not eligible for this scholarship.

To get a BTech seat at ITM University Gwalior, students must follow the below-mentioned steps:

1. Check the eligibility criteria on the official website of the university.

2. If eligible, apply for the ITM NEST exam. Students who have a valid JEE Main score and prefer to get admission on the basis of JEE Main need not take the university's exam.

3. Participate in the seat allocation process

4. If allocated a seat, report to the university and get documents verified.

5. Pay the admission fee to secure the seat.

The IIITM Gwalior GATE cutoff 2025 last round cutoff score fell  between 370 and 534 for the General AI category students. Hence, the minimum score required was 370. Refer to the table below to know the minimum score needed by other categories.

ITM University Gwalior has defined eligibility requirements for BTech Lateral Entry courses. As per the criteria, students must have completed a three-year diploma in any branch of engineering with at least 50% marks from an institute. Other than this, students who have completed a BSc with at least 50% marks from any central/state university, with Physics and Mathematics at the intermediate level, are also eligible to apply.

No, ITM NEST is not compulsory for enrolling in BTech courses offered by ITM University Gwalior. Students who do not wish to take the university's in-house entrance test can also take admission based on JEE Main results. While filling out the application forms, students must indicate their preferred channel of admission (JEE Main/ITM NEST).
