NIMS University admission is both merit and entrance-based. The university offers a wide range of programmes at UG, PG, and PhD levels. Admission to most of the UG and PG courses is done through the university's in-house entrance exam, NIMSEE. To get admitted to NIMS University, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the college. Further, candidates seeking admission to the BTech programme must be Class 12 passed in relevant subjects with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for reserved category).

The hostel fee is INR 1.10 Lacs per year. Biyani Institute of Physical Education offers a B.P.Ed. course at the UG level. Candidates must appear for the entrance exam, i.e., the Exam conducted by the Nodal agency (Govt of Rajasthan).
