The Pallavan College of Engineering has differing cut-off scores for the various engineering branches or categories of students. Generally, the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) process is the one usually followed, in which the ranks and marks of every programme are adjusted in line with the applicant pool. For the admission process in 2024, the cut-off ranks for the general categories varied between approximately 158474 and 196746 under the branch of engineering. Candidates seeking admission to the BSc at SRM School of Public Health are required to have following documents during the time of admission:
- Class 10 and Class 12 marksheets and certificates
- Qualifying entrance exam scorecard
