SRM Valliammai Engineering College is a good College in comparison to DMI COLLEGE of Engineering but the fee structure of SRM is very high it would be 1.7 Lacs per year but the fees of DMI is INR 70,000 per year. So, SRM is more expensive than DMI in Chennai.

The eligibility criteria for B.Tech at SRM Valliammai Engineering College are as follows:

  1. Academic Qualification: Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (55% for SC/ST candidates).
     
  2. Admission to the BE programme is based on TNEA counseling, and students must have passed the 12th examination with 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry combined from a recognised board to be eligible for admission.

SRM Valliammai Engineering College accepts the following entrance exam scores for admission to B.Tech: 
  • TANCET: The overall cutoff for 2023 is 82 marks.
  • TNEA: The overall cutoff for 2023 is 23816–31998 rank.
Admission to the BE programme is based on TNEA counseling. For MBA and ME, candidates must get a valid score in TANCET followed by TANCA counseling. The college does not accept scores from other national-level engineering entrance exams for B.Tech admissions.Therefore, candidates are required to appear for the entrance examination conducted by the college for admission to B.Tech programs.
