DIET – Dumkal Institute of Engineering & Technology doesn't publicly list any standout alumni or notable personalities as some larger institutions do. Their website emphasizes collective academic achievement—several graduates have secured university-level distinctions or high marks—but no specific famous alumni are highlighted . Reviews mention that many students have gone on to work at companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, and Accenture—but again, without naming flagship alumni . In essence, while DIET prides itself on producing capable graduates, it currently has no widely recognised “top alumni” on record.

It is anticipated that the WBJEE 2025 result would be made public on wbjeeb.nic.in during the third week of June 2025, most likely around June 22. Since eligibility for B.E./B.Tech programs is determined on WBJEE scores this date applies to DIET admissions. Usually results are made public between 2:00 and 4:00 PM and rank card downloads follow. Based on these ranks counseling for DIET seats will come next.

Many of the knowledgeable instructors on the faculty of DIET, Murshidabad have advanced degrees in engineering. They are renowned for their commitment and hands-on teaching strategies, which create a positive learning atmosphere. Student evaluation, however shows that teaching quality varies among departments and that some faculty members lack experience in the sector. Although the institute places a strong emphasis on discipline its lack of faculty development programs may hinder creative teaching. Although it varies by department the faculty is generally sufficient for basic engineering instruction.
