To get admission in either of the courses offered by LEAD College of Management, students need to qualify the admission criteria of the desired programme. Those who clear the admission criteria can then apply for the course of choice on the college's official website. For the MBA course, the college shortlists students on several basis, such as entrance exam scores, GDPI performance, etc. Meanwhile, for the MCA programme, students need to clear the basic eligibility. St. Joseph College of Communication accepts the scores obtained by candidates in the qualifying examination. There is no entrance test required for SJCC admissions. Minimum eligibility criteria for UG programme admission is Class 12. Candidates are just required appear for the Centralised Allotment Process. However, admission to the UG programme through Management Quota is based on the marks secured by candidates in the qualifying examination, performance in the aptitude test and the Interview conducted at the college.

Candidates who have passed UG or equivalent degree can apply for St Joseph College of Communication MA programme. Aspirants should have the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission. The selection to the MA course is based on merit of the aspirants in the last qualifying exam.

Candidates need to complete a minimum of Class 12 to apply for BA at St. Joseph College of Communication. Aspirants applying via Management Quota must pass Class 12 with a minimum of 65% aggregate for BA programme. Candidates must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.

The eligibility criteria of M.Tech Biomedical engineering of NSSCE is given below.

Eligibility criteria: 

1. Minimum CGPA : 6 for general, 5.5 for OBC and pass for SC/St.
2. The candidate should have B.Tech degree in the appropriate branch of APJAKTU or bachelor degree in engineering from another university approved by AICTE/ UGC.
3. Valid GATE score 

St Joseph College of Communication admission to UG and PG courses is based on merit of the aspirants in the last qualifying exam. Aspirants seeking admission under Management quota need to appear for an aptitude test conducted by the college. Selected candidates have to further pass a personal interview round for admission under Management Quota. Selected candidates are offered seat via CAP of MGU Kerala.

The Kerala Lateral Entry Test (LET) for admission to the B.E. / B.Tech programme at College of Engineering Vadakara and other institutions usually takes place every year. For 2024, registrations were closed on June 20 and the examination has taken place on June 4, 2024. The result and corresponding seat allotment processes had scheduled to take place in the month of July 2024. For the forthcoming year 2025 also, registration will be on from June, and one might expect the exam being on June. The LBS Centre for Science & Technology will announce specific dates for registration, exam, and counseling closer to the date.
