The University of Malaya offers on-campus accommodation facilities to in-state and international students. Living on campus accommodation facilities can certainly enable a student to have more access to the university's infrastructural facilities. Also, on-campus accommodations are safer for students than off-campus accommodations. Living in off-campus facilities may give a student more independence and freedom to have more personal international exposure. The decision of whether you should live on-campus or outside of it entirely depends on your personal preferences and the availability of accommodation facilities.

Securing a seat at the University of Malaya, especially when narrowed down to getting selected in a particular course of choice. Malaya is a prestigious school making is worthwhile to wait another year-long, however, it is to be noted that students shall check the requirements of their desired school thoroughly and not apply with haste. Moreover, if the student does get admission anywhere else that is as, or more reputable than the University of Malaya, it is not advisable to wait around for one more year.
