Indian Institute of Management Sambalpur offers a two-year full-time residential course at the PG level. The institute also offers MBA in Business Analytics. The first year of MBA in BA is offered in the Delhi campus of IIM Sambalpur. In the subsequent year, students have an option to pursue dual degree course at Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand.

Students shortlisted in stage-1 based on their CAT score receive an email to complete the IIM Sambalpur application form. A Pre-PI score is calculated out of 75 as follows:

In case of withdrawal of MBA admission, IIM Sambalpur refunds fee to aspirants after deduction of INR 1,000 as processing charges. Students have to send their refund request to admission office by the stipulated date.
In case no. of candidates accepting admission offer exceed planned intake, refund is then processed on first-come-first-serve basis. No refund request is entertained if no. of candidates accepting admission offer is less than or equal to the planned intake for the year.
