Students who want to avail VMRF BSc scholarships are required to go through the following procedure as mentioned below:

Step 1: Eligible students have to apply for fresh and renewal of the scholarship in the prescribed form available on the University's website. A student can apply and avail only one scholarship.

Step 2: The scholarship committee instituted by the University then scrutinize the application and recommend eligible candidates names for the award of scholarship or tuition fee waiver as applicable. 

Step 3: The Vice Chancellor has the final authority to approve the award of the scholarship and eligible students are informed about the same by the Head of the Institution.

VMRF BSc scholarships are offered in the form of student educational scholarships/ fee concession and freeships to recognise and reward meritorious students and help young aspiring students to pursue higher education. Given below is the list of scholarships offered at Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundation to the BSc students:

• Merit Scholarship based on the Class 12 marks
• Scholarship for SC/ ST/ Minority category students from the Government agencies
• Scholarship for Differently abled students with academic merit
• Scholarship for students who are proficient in sports in International/ National/ State/ District level
• Scholarship for children of staff members of VMRF
• Freeship is provided under the Founder’s Scholarship scheme to CBSE (Top 100) and District Toppers in Class 12 in each district of Tamil Nadu and State Board Toppers in HSc level,   Orphans and Economically very poor candidates with merit
• Scholarship for Socially/ Economically backward category students
• Scholarship for Wards of Ex-Servicemen

Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundation offers student educational scholarships/ fee concession and freeships to the students pursuing the BSc programme. VMRF BSc scholarships are offered to recognise and reward meritorious students and help young aspiring students to pursue higher education.

These scholarships can be availed by meritorious students, socially/ economically backward category students, minority category students, wards of ex-servicemen, differently abled students and students who are proficient in sports.

The continuance of the VMRF BSc scholarship for the subsequent year is purely based on the academic performance of students in the previous academic year of the immediate previous year of study with above 8.0 SCGPA/ 80%.

The candidate have to appear for college level entrance exam + selection process and PI .The entrance exam consist of two steps. Step one will be entrance exam (Computer Based exam) and shotlisted candidates goes for selection process. Step two consist of medical test, PI, skill test, apttitude and such test towards the healing ministry. However, for Christain candidates applying under the Minority Network category, a written test in Bible knowledge will be conducted at Vellore campus. Further, CMC Vellore accepts Andhra Pradesh EAMCET for admission to its BSc nursing course. Candidates must seperately apply for the exam and appear for the exam.
