The university does not conduct any in-house entrance test for MBA in Annamalai University. However, the aspirants are selected based on merit in TANCET followed by a counselling round. Candidates seeking admission need to take the entrance test and apply by completing the TANCET application process. There is no other provision for admission to an MBA. Hence, aspirants must take the exam and secure a valid score.

 Candidates seeking admission to the Annamalai University MBA course admission need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria. The applications are accepted by only the candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria. To be eligible for MBA admission, students must have passed a graduation degree (10+2+3 pattern) in any stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate (SC/ST candidates need to qualify for the graduation degree with pass marks only). Further, candidates must also hold the relevant documents at the time of admission for verification purposes.

Annamalai University offers four-year full-time BE/BTech courses across multiple specialisations on-campus and through its affiliated colleges. Apart from the regular BE degree, the University also offers part-time BE courses covering four specialisations. It also offers BE lateral entry admission for the course. Annamalai University BTech admission is based on TNEA counselling. Annamalai University Chennai BE degree courses in Chemical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering and Electrical & Electronics Engineering have been accredited by the NBA with an ‘A’ Grade.
