A specialised placement department at CIET Coimbatore actively assists students in landing jobs. Candidates must have completed 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate (45% for reserved categories) in mathematics, physics and chemistry in order to be considered for a B.E. or B.Tech programme at CIET, Coimbatore. TNEA counseling is the main method of admission which is determined by TNEA rank and grades from the 12th grade. There is no admission exam needed for the selection process which takes into account the TNEA rank list. There are management quota seats available but they require a direct application and come with higher costs. Candidates with appropriate studies from the vocational stream are also eligible.

CMC Vellore offers admission to the MBBS course on the basis of Tamil Nadu NEET exam. The cutoff was released for different categories belonging to the Home State quota. Among the General HS category, the last round cutoff was closed at 84. Therefore, among the General HS category candidate, getting admission to the college at 90 rank is impossible. For candidates belonging to the OBC HS category, getting admission to the college at 90 rank is not possible, as the last round closing rank for the same was 35.

CMC Vellore cutoff 2024 was based on Tamil Nadu PG medical for admission to the PG courses. The cutoff was released for different categories belonging to the Home State quota. For the General HS quota, the cutoff fell between 96 and 4068. Candidates can check the table below to find the last round cutoff released for the General HS category in the table below:

The cutoff was released for different categories belonging to the Home State quota. Among the General HS category candidates, the last round closing ranks were between 96 and 4068.
For the candidates belonging to the OBC HS category, the last round closing cutoff were ranged between 180 and 6957.
