It is always advised to candidates to keep the track of admission deadline. However, in case they miss the deadline, they can reach out to the admission office of the Annamalai University DDE. Usually, the university gives a good amount of time to aspirants to apply for admission. In case no other option is possible, aspirants can apply in the next session. The university conucts admission in two sessions-January and July.

Annamalai University DDE has not specified any age limit to apply for a course. However, aspirants do need to fulfill the qualification requirements to apply for admission. The basic qualification required for UG courses is Class 12 and graduation for PG programmes.

Aspirants who have completed BCom/ BBM/ BCom (CA)/ BBA/ BA Corporate Secretaryship/ BA Co-operation/ Bachelor of Bank Management/ MBA and BA/ BSc Mathematics with 2 Commerce subjects including Accountancy can apply for MCom programme at Annamalai University DDE. Candidates are selected for admission to MCom based on their qualifying exam scores.

Candidates who have completed Higher Secondary Education or pre-university are eligible to apply for Diploma courses at Annamalai University DDE. Aspirants must have relevant documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission. Besides, admission to Diploma courses is merit-based.

Annamalai University DDE offers admission in two cycles in an academic year. Admissions in distance education courses are offered in January and July sessions. The July sessions ends by December, whereas January session goes on till June month. Candidates have to fill out the application form on the university's website for admission.

Annamalai University Distance Education offers admission to candidates based on their merit. Candidates can get a seat directly through Spot Admission. Aspirants have to submit the filled-in application form along with the documents to the nearest Learners Support Centre or LSC in-person to get direct admission. All Spot Admissions are subject to confirmation or cancellation (if found ineligible) by the Director, CD&OE.
