The COMEDK cutoff rank for Rural Engineering College in 2024 was 98,063. 

Here are some other things to know about COMEDK UGET:

  • A score of 140 or more is considered good, and a rank between 1–2,000 is considered excellent. 
  • A score of 110 or more is also considered good, and results in a rank between 2,000 and 15,000. 
  • The qualifying marks for COMEDK are:
  • General: 45% 
  • SC: 40% 
  • ST: 40% 
  • Others: 40%

No, admission to the B.E./B.Tech course at Rural Engineering College (REC) in Karnataka requires the COMEDK UGET exam. The application process for COMEDK UGET 2025 is expected to begin in February 2025.

Here is the detailed information about COMEDK UGET result for S J C Institute of Technology 

  • Result Announcement: The result for the last year were announced in the month of May 24 ,2024. Hopefully for the year 2025 the result will be declare on the same date most probably 
  • Counselling Rounds: The counselling Rounds will be conducted for seat allocation followed by the announcement of results 
  • Final seat Allotment: The final seat allotment results will be published on November 30,2025

Yes, it is possible to get admission to the B.E. or B.Tech course at Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology (BIET) without COMEDK UGET: 

Academic performance

BIET considers the scores of past academics for admission to B.E. and B.Tech courses. 

Direct admission

Direct admission is available for management quota seats and the NRI quota. 

Eligibility requirements

Yes, you can get admission to SVCE - Sri Venkateshwara College of Engineering for B.E. / B.Tech without the COMEDK UGET exam. To be eligible for the course, the candidate needs to have a minimum of 50% marks in Class 12th in a relevant stream. Eligible candidates will also have to appear for the KCET exam and score valid marks to secure admission to the course

The COMEDK UGET cut off for RGC - Rajiv Gandhi Group of Institutions are given below :- 

B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering: 75,000 Ranks

B.E. in Mechanical Engineering: 91,300 Ranks

B.E. in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science: 95,800 Ranks

B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering: 85,900 Ranks

B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security): 80,300 Ranks.

So, it is easy to get into RGC.

Well, yes, you can secure admission to KNS Institute of Technology for the course B.E. / B.Tech without appearing in COMEDK UGET, wherein the institute accepts scores taken from KCET, known as Karnataka Common Entrance Test. Candidates must have an overall aggregate of 45 % in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at 10 + 2 level. Moreover, management quota will also help a student get admission without having to worry about the scores in the entrance exam. Yet, it is advisable that one should appear for COMEDK or KCET so that they get good placements and also meet the competitive entry criteria.

COMEDK UGET also known as the consortium for medical, engineering and dental college of Karnataka undergraduate entrance test is a national level examination the upcoming COMEDK 2025 exam is supposed to be conducted in the third week of May 2025 the exam .
