There are plenty of sites which will allow you to download come k question paper along with answers of various previous years. However being a counselor of Shiksha, I cannot recommend one particular site. Yes, you can apply for the engineering exams as you are class 12th passed student. You need a gap year certificate from CBSE.

If you have not participated in the COMEDK counselling then the only option to get a seat in these colleges is through management quota but management quota admission and fee is not advertised openly by any of the colleges/universities across India as being a paid seat it totally depends on the discretion of the college authorities. Please contact the college authorities for all the details

Yes, you can participate as a GM category student in COMEDK counselling process in Karnataka, but it's better for you to participate as an HKR region student because there will be less cutoff and also you will get rebate in the fees.

There are plenty of good colleges in Karnataka offering this branch. Some are government and some are in private sphere. Some are even outside purview of COMEDK.
