Sri Nrusinghnath Ayurved College and Research Institute follows the timeline set by the Ministry of AYUSH and the state government. Extensions are very rare and only happen in special circumstances. If the overall counselling process is delayed nationally, the dates might shift slightly. However, it is never safe to wait for the last moment. It is better to finish all formalities as soon as the window opens.

Sri Nrusinghnath Ayurved College and Research Institute fills its BAMS seats through multiple rounds of counselling. If any seats are left after the main rounds, a mop-up round is usually conducted. This gives another chance to students who might have missed out earlier. The college strictly follows the merit list provided by the entrance exam authorities.

At Sri Nrusinghnath Ayurved College and Research Institute, the BAMS curriculum starts with the basics of human anatomy and physiology. You will learn these topics from both Ayurvedic and modern perspectives. Students also study the history of Ayurveda to understand its deep roots. Sanskrit is taught as well since most original texts are written in that language. This first phase lasts for 18 months to give you a solid start. It builds the core knowledge needed for more complex medical subjects later.
