Basic Eligibility
You must have passed Class 12 (10+2) from a recognised board with at least 50% aggregate marks.
Mandatory subject requirement: You need Mathematics / Business Mathematics / Statistics / Allied Mathematics at 10+2 level as one of your subjects.
So if your commerce stream + computer Science in 12th included Mathematics or Business Mathematics or Statistics, then:
Yes — you are eligible to apply for BCA at SRM KTR provided you meet the minimum 50% overall marks and have one of the acceptable mathematics-type subjects.

Yes, you can still get admission in Chandigarh University for BBA even if you scored below 70% in 12th commerce. The basic eligibility is passing Class 12 with at least 50% marks from a recognised board. The university conducts its own entrance test CUCET, and performance in this exam along with your Class 12 marks is considered for admission. So, even with less than 70%, you have a good chance if you clear CUCET and fulfill the minimum criteria.

Yes, candidates having qualifying degree in B.Com can apply for GATE exam to get admission to the master's programmes in IITs and IISc. Candidates must go through the GATE information brochure carefully before applying. Also, students in 3rd year or final year in commerce are also eligible for GATE.

Yes, Definitely, B.Com is open to the students from all the streams whether it is arts, Science or other streams although you may need to put extra efforts initially to grasp accounting or finance concepts. Many students from engineering or arts successfully pursue B.Com and complement it with certifications like CA, CPA or CFA to build a strong career after the course.

MBA in Finance is open to graduates from all the streams including engineering, arts, science, etc. You might need to brush up on basics of accounting, finance, and statistics before joining but your analytical and problem-solving skills from other backgrounds can actually be a huge advantage in finance roles.
