The probability of getting admission or not, totally depends on the cutoff. As your score is 81, you have a good chance of getting admission. The previous year JNU cutoff for general category was 75 for MCA. So as you have better score than the previous year cutoff, the chances are good. But no accurate prediction can be done because the cutoff may vary every year. So you are adviced to wait for the cutoff to be released.

It may not be enough just considering these 108 marks in your CUET PG 2024: it will only depend on the requirements, cutoffs, number of applicants, and then competition with that Hindi department of the university.
Such cutoffs are characterized for quite many central universities and change every year, especially for such popular options like MA Hindi.
Scoring 108 may be seen quite competitive in certain universities, but that remains far short of a promise that such marks will go through the refined processes at the top universities since their cutoffs are set far beyond the MA Hindi levels.

With a score of 158 in CUET PG for Microbiology, your chances of admission depend on the specific cutoff trends of participating universities. For instance:
- Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and Delhi University (DU) generally have higher cutoffs for postgraduate Science courses, often exceeding 200 marks.
- For universities like Pondicherry University or Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU), your score may fall near their cutoff range, depending on the category and seat availability.

Although the expected cut-off for the CUET PG 2024 must certainly vary from one place to another considering this is for a very competitive programme such as M.A. in English Literature, one could conjecture for example Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has this cut-off value range of 350+ for this course. Other institutions could be marginally lower or higher, typically within the 280 to 350 marks range, so it is advisable to head to the specific university websites for accurate information once the official cut-off is declared.
