Yes, these students get add-on weightage to their merit scores during the selection process. For D.Ed course, 3 marks weightage for students who are wards of freedom fighters, NCC or NSS cadets, State/National/International level players. These students can also avail of 2 marks weightage for the MBA course.

Well, you can do a Diploma and graduation simultaneously. You can start a Diploma in any engineering course on a regular basis and pursue Graduation from some open universities like IGNOU it's completely valid but when you will apply for government jobs you can use only one Certificate as per my knowledge but you can use both in private jobs. But I would suggest it is not the right way to proceed even if it permits. You should stick to one path, complete it and then go for another. Keep learning.

It's a 1-year Certificate course. Main eligibility 10 +2 qualification but most colleges select through Entrance exam and that is IPU CET. For either of the admission process, candidates are required to fill out the online application form and submit the required documents and application fees beforehand.
