The cutoff mark for the MHT-CET for the Datta Meghe College of Engineering (DMCE) Mumbai depends on the rank allotting of the Maharashtra CET. For the 2023 academic year, the closing ranks for popular branches were:

Computer Engineering: About thirty five thousand to forty thousand (General category)

Electronics Engineering: It somewhere between 40000 – 50000 includes (General category).

Mechanical Engineering: About 55,000-60,000 learners in General category

The criterion of getting into Datta Meghe College of Engineering (DMCE) at Mumbai is the MHT-CET or JEE Main for undergraduate degree courses such as B.Tech. The MHT-CET qualifying marks also reduce every year, which stands between 85%-95% percentile for courses like Computer Engineering or Electronics. It depends on the course in which the student is interested. Datta Meghe College of Engineering offers BTech, and MTech courses. Admission to the BTech courses at the college is done based on the scores obtained in the JEE Main and the MHTCET exams. Applications for both the exams generally opens in the month of February and are currently open. Admission to the MTech courses at the college is done based on the scores obtained in the GATE and the MHTCET MTech exams. Applications for the exams generally opens in the month of November and June respectively and are currently closed.

As for the actual canteen/food services the college does not own a hostel so they do not have a hostel mess within their campus. Even though private hostels and PG accommodations nearby the campus provide food facilities. It is common with these hostels to report that they always offer clean and cheap meals and have standard food services like breakfast, lunch or dinner. Yes, there is a placement cell initiated capable in Datta Meghe College Of Engineering for the students to provide them the career opportunities. The cell is responsible for conducting campus drives and has close ties with leading companies like TCS, Infosys, L&T & Capgemini. It also simulations interviews, personality enhancement and industrial-based seminars and workshops in readiness for the job market. Currently, the college consistently achieves above 80% placement rate in the last few years. Further, the placement cell assists the students to have internships which benefit both in academic and the work experience.

It is to be noted that Datta Meghe College of Engineering does not have any in-campus hostels. Usually, students find a private hostel or a paying guest accommodation facility in or around the campus. These range between Rs 6,000 and Rs. 15,000 per month depending on the type of room whether shared/ single or even the availability of the services such as internet, meals etc., and the strategic position.
